With deep regret, I announce that Betty-Ann Whiting passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 56.

Betty-Ann was an active member of the ODGAC for several years. Throughout her lengthy illness, Betty-Ann remained amazingly cheerful at the events. We will miss Betty-Ann greatly.

It is sad to announce that Gilberte Pellerin passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2010. She was 92 years old.

Gilberte was a dignified and sweet lady with warmth and friendly nature. She was known for good taste in clothes. She seldom missed Ottawa Deaf Golden Age Club activities. The ODGAC will miss Gilberte greatly.
